Leaders face many challenges in business most notably the last few years, but lets face it, most industries have faced off against crisis and chaos on a regular basis, whether it has been digital transformation or disruption. The world continues to change as quickly as we have seen it.
Things are important for business, but its rarely life or death. In some occupations, getting consistency in crisis can seriously be life or death moment. Which brings us to our guest today.
Marty Strong is a retired Navy SEAL officer and combat veteran. He is a novelist, a practicing CEO and Chief Strategy Officer, and the author of Be Nimble: How the Creative Navy SEAL Mindset Wins on the Battlefield and in Business, and a second book, Be Visionary: Strategic Leadership in the Age of Optimization, set for release in December 2022. Marty’s traveled to over forty countries, been shot at in a few, survived cancer twice, and experienced the loss of his oldest son. he has spent a lifetime meeting challenges head on, succeeding in three professions, anticipating crisis, and leading through crisis and chaos.
